The ocean is vast and deep; living on it requires that you discover your own depths as you explore. It will change everything it comes into contact with, including us; and tells us that we shall endeavor to leave every place a little better than we found it.
Peace Out Sailing
We began our adventure over five years ago. It was interrupted by life, as so often happens, but the dream never died. And so we have allowed hopes and ideas to flourish for how we can get it right this time around.
Our mission is to do a partial refit that takes care of the major fixes on our 1985 Pearson 385 sailboat that will allow us to get her from Maine back to Florida. Once there, we will spend the winter sailing and doing some bigger projects to turn our boat into the perfect work and liveaboard home for us. Long-term goals include converting to an electric engine and sailing the Bahamas and beyond.
Our Gear
We have a lot of different gear that is both on and in our boat. We did a lot of upgrades in 2020 and we have added more since then. Check out what works for us in the boat and what we work with outside the boat!
GoPro Hero 7
GoPro Hero 13
DJI Mini 3 Drone
Canon EOS M50 Digital Camera
Some mics and more.
S24 Ultra for some AI and drawing - Messaging and Instagram.
2 X 13” Macbook Airs for video editing and work.
We are still adding to our collection but this feels like a good start.

Talk about all the things…
Communication is key while cruising, not only with each other, but with the people you meet. You may be able to help them; they may be able to help you - with projects, fixes, routing advice, a needed tool, a quick tow, and so much more.
Many of the projects that we did on our boat were made possible by advice or an extra hand and we plan to pay that forward at every possible opportunity.
Check out our past boat projects and the (long) list of what’s still to be done.
Why We Love Living Aboard
There are so many reasons we loved living on our sailboat and why we can’t wait to do it again. Besides adventure, the main one is that the sailing community is just the absolute best!
